Just to be clear I don't think it is exclusively the Dems fault here. But regardless they had a chance to do the right thing with the funding and played games instead. But in reality anyone who doesn't think both sides are playing games is deluding themselves when it boils right down to it.
I would argue that doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is still BS but at least it gets done, and on this issue thats priority #1 above all else. I think we can all agree on that.
