Never had an NES but I did have Ninja Gaiden on the gameboy and I wonder why as a kid I tried to beat it even though I was taking a beating :/

Anyways how dose it compare to the NES games on difficulty.

I never played the GB version, but I'm sure it was tough as well, considerin ever Ninja Gaiden games was tough. Tha arcade original was tough as well.

I dont think any of the new ninja gaiden games are tough. Not at all. Its just that most games today you can beat with your eyes closed. Makes me laugh.

Sometimes i get out one of me old consoles in the living room and everyones like oh i remember this console. They have a go and die more or less straight away.

edit: Had to correct some missing letters in some of my words -_-

ahha yes NInja Gaiden. I completed it two-three myself many years ago. The news ones i don't mind, hwoever I am not a fan of the camera angles.

MIke Tyson I only beat him once with KO and once with a umpires decision. This is a game if you blink you go down haha.

I always oved your Avatar. But yeah if you want to test your hand eye coordination go fight Tyson, that dude was really quick and powerful just as in real life.

As for Ninja Gaiden on the NES, it is beatable, but I know few gamers personally that beat it - kind of the same with the newer ones.

This x1000--there was zero handholding through the 16-bit era. Now they basically cup your balls gently and move them from set piece to set piece, lest they upset the delicate constitution of today's interactive movie viewers.

Agreed, as Ninja Gaiden Black, for example, got realy tasty tough only after you beat it about about 5 times to get the really insane difficulties which I really loved.

Yeah, to get a tough game these days you always have to turn up the difficulty or beat the game multiple times, and sometimes that is the only way the game gets "good", for example God of War.

While we're all moaning, one of my biggest pet peeves is being forced to play through the entire game just to be allowed to play the game on *hard*--ye gods, that pisses me off.

TMNT1.

I always play a game on the hardest setting available. I got earth worm jim on my PS3. It has various difficulties. Its like easy medium hard and original. The original is the difficulty it was released with on the megadrive and snes and is the hardist difficulty. Make of that what you will.

Nes games, i put hard and confusing in the same catorgory, because roming around not knowing what to do is just as bad as always getting killed.

Scooby Doo mystery,

The haunted mansion: Never could grasp the concept of that game, used to do my head in.

The game with the egg with the red feet. Cant think of the name right now but god, is was so frustrating at times.

I know this console has nothing to do with it but the hardest game in the world is for the mastersystem. Its a game called "The Ninja" I dont think i have ever got past the 2nd level, maybe just the once but that was pure luck. Shinobi needs a mention aswell, I mean the original shinobi. The one of the snes was difficult aswell. crazy difficult for me.
