Forums - Gaming - Take with a grain of Salt. RUMOR: SEGA may be developing new Hardware. Looking like a IPad style device.

I hope it's true but i don't see it being a tablet, not with a mini- disc drive and seemingly 2 mobile graphics cards, but then it has 4G so who knows?

The 8 Sega App store offerings sound very cool in paticular, especially Dreamcast Reformulated, i would buy whatever this is just for that. But is non sega section allowed, i mean It said ps1, ps2, nes, snes, Atari- so that seems a bit fishy to me.

The listed price looks good too, but i will have to wait see if it's announced, which is around this time.

This could get interesting...

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I want this to be true, but I know it won't be :(

I tag this for future updates! Hope it will turn out to be truth!

SEGA, YOU CAN DO IT!!!

SEGA coming to market with a handheld style device would be stupid, even if it is more of a smartphone/tablet type of system.

If they wanted to reenter the console market it should be a TV based system with tablet/controller. Maybe a pure Android solution in a WiiU themed approach. The hardware could be in the tablet with the tv device being more of a pass-through type device.

idk, just my thoughts.

Well a connection device to a display was listed, but its so vague though. The connection device to display could be arcade.

Your idea would be cool too.
