It's a pretty damn good incentive. But it's not enough for me. Maybe their PS+ stuff will make me buy one.

Its not personal.
You just made a thread that those games arent important. And now here you are saying they are.
Specifically, this thread is made in reference to third party games, which, is exactly what you did say was what vita needed.
It's just the facts.

Specifically you even modified your thread, under scrutiny, to say that by "third party" you were simply referring to "big games" thereby making the statement mean "vita does not have any big games announced for 2013".

I stick to that opinion, it is big and exclusive third party games what it lacks the most at the moment, imo. In other words, those games deserve to sell, for the reasons I described (great games (very probably), great talent (media molecule and Keiji Inafume) and exclusive (vita in mind - right focus), but just like Gravity Rush did very little to shake the system in sales, I say it's risky to bet all you got on new unproved games - this is where stabilished great franchises enter.
Anyway, you asked my opinion on crossbuy. I think it's great for the consumer (who wouldn't think that - free stuff) and maybe even for Vita, for now, but in the end, without it, Vita has more chances of getting exclusive content - instead of getting the freebie version of the game.
Again, I think you understand everything I say wrongly (or partially wrong), I swear.
Nobody expected gravity rush to push sales so much. Anyone who did was just wishful thinking.
But again, i have to ask, what is it about crossbuy that makes them less likely to get exclusives? It seems like the way you are talking that devs would, according to the success of this idea, make vita game versions for precisely the idea that single player games now feel the need to insert multiplayer.
This is not the case. Nobody is going to make a vita version simply to make game bundles.
Conversely, what the idea would favor, develipers who already intended to make multiplats could make bundles for sony vita and ps3 to take advantage of the currently pushed strategy if linking, the sony strategy.
I also dont understand why youd say it would be less likely to get exclusives. Again, it's implying that a dev would spring to make a ps3 version simply because they wanted to make a vita game.

@rol
Yeah thats why i said it should be a limited thing. I said 100k but obviously now, 10k should suffice speaking realistically.hopefully, devs wont be so short sighted in the future, but im glad from that link that was posted here, at least half the idea is already in the works with hotshots golf (coupon aspect).

Also yes i am aware that not a ton of people own both at the moment, but i believe it is in sonys best interest to start pushing both, speaking of that ps3vita bundle rumor thats been going around.

If third parties don't see any profit in cross buy, then this will never be a success. It's as simple as that.
