Yesterday was the PS All-Stars: Battle Royale #LABeatdown event hosted bySuperbot Ent. and Iam8bitfitshow. It wouldn't have been a blast without some of the Superbot team fighting it out in-game. Check out the battle between Omar Kendall and Cl0ckwork along with some extra videos, Crash Bandicoot information, and more.
It's nice to know that some of the people who make the games we play are actually good at their games. Omar and Cl0ckwork show that they really do play, enjoy, and seem to have a great understanding of PS All-Stars: Battle Royale's gameplay mechanics. Watch as they battle it out using Raiden (Cl0ckwork) and Nariko (Omar). A 1v1 that fans of the game don't want to miss.
Take notes button spammers, combos are the way to go.
(Thanks to Matthew Salcido for the footage from the event. I hope you had fun)
Information from Mr. Salcido (aka KiLLeRgotti187) concerning the final four characters:
I asked about the final four (crash, cloud, wander, snake) now the way he responded did not deny if they will eventually come out but he assured me they aren't on the disc.
- "what you see now is the final build of the game."
- "We've got 20 characters, the characters you are seeing now are the ones that will be on disc when it comes out next month."
I should point out that my friend asked him regarding Crash Bandicoot and Activision and he said
"We are still working on it."
So he at least confirmed they are pushing for crash. When he asked for my name so he can sign my poster I joked that it wasn't for me, that it was for my mom and my mom wanted crash bandicoot.
"She's Old - school"
I told him. He laughed and it wasn't until i got home that i realized that he put
"To Matt from Omar! P.S. I WANT CRASH TOO!!"
so that was awesome!
Tweet from Activison
Am I sad about this? Noooo, of course not (crying inside). Honestly though, there is still the possibility that he could become DLC in the future.
We'll be updating this post as news comes up. Make sure to stay tuned to DSN for more PS All-Stars news, information and gaming in general.
