Why would they let you keep the game if you aren't going to subscribe again? Isn't that like paying for Xbox Live once and then expecting to play online if you don't continue paying?

You could always pay full price for them.

Anything you buy off PS+ is still yours forever. Only the free games require PS+ membership to play.
So I bought Tokyo Jungle and got like $3 off. That is mine forever. I also bought the Unfinished Swan a week early (amazing game). That is also mine forever. But seriously there isn't even a problem with free stuff. I plan to stay a member of PS+ for the rest of Sony's era just like you will keep paying for gold well into 2020.
i did subscribe to plus in September and also glad about the service... in October the game of the month is not infamous 2... its bulletstorm and resident evil 5 if you are in EU and king of fighters XIII if you are in the US.

He paid for PS Plus, he didn't pay for the games. The games are free.
Yes, he INDIRECTLY paid for the games. But no need to get technical. Playstation Plus offers amazing value. If you are on a budget, just buy a PS3 and get PS Plus. You're set for life. No need to ever buy a game ever again.

Just stoking the embers. That's all.

Don't be a party pooper.
By the time your PS Plus subscription ends, you would have beaten those games already. Anyway if you really like your PS+ game collection, keep paying the $50 a year. Simple as that. If you don't have anything to contribute to this thread, get out.
The services is full of content.
Today the EU is getting better games than US... not the US is bad it's because the EU games are really great.
