You didn't answer any of my questions to you.

I think you're putting too many importance in those games (AGAIN - this is not a Vita has no games thread - I'm not questioning numbers or quality). I'm questioning the lack of future system definitive games from third parties (or system sellers, exclusives, killer-apps, whatever you want to call them). They are important, very important - especially for Playstation consoles that depend on them, and also especially for portables - as multiplats are not exactly common in this market the same way as the HD consoles.

Your tone and attitude starting from the OP itself shows yours intentions Vic so don't act so clueless. Vita line up is great. Ffs I won't be able to buy all the games I need this year even.

Let's forget about the first party games, though it's pretty fantastic.

Why the hell do you want to know about 3rd party exclusives for NEXT year? We still have around 2 months+ left this year. Most of the 3rd party games released this year were announced/revealed THIS year. Also we know titles like Soul Sacrifice, Picotto knights and EDF etc are coming.

Seriously this is just pathetic. Where is your concerned threads about western support for 3ds? you know what forget that...where are your threads on the currently released or about to be released vita titles?

Seriously, I hate this pretend to be genuinely concerned but fuck all we all know what this is all about acts. Get real and be frank for a change. Do you even own a vita? smh

Wow, you look so fanboyish. I can feel the hate and the cry from your comment. O.o

yeah calling as i see it makes me a fanboy...that's cute..really..very cute..share your deepest thoughts with us would you?

and what hate? 0_o you make it sound like this is the first time me and Vic had a bit of an argument...

oh and reported :)

Oh, I just can't let a comment so passionate like yours pass...it looks so sore. You try to say that first party support is awesome, while the thread is about exclusive third party support. Also, you use strong words to attack Vic, and try to justify yourself with dumb arguments like: "do you even own a Vita?".

Holy mother.

However, this article was created to attack the Vita as a whole. Not just Japan. Although Japan is the only market that hasn't had consistent enough games releasing to do much good. Although the games that do get released there boost the system incredibly.

And if someone doesn't have a Vita, how can they judge the system based on games, when they aren't even in the equation? Could things be better in Japan, of course it could be better.

The biggest problem the system has is the sales of the system itself. However, there are tremendous games already released, in the near future and within the next year. The issue is marketing, as Sony hasn't marketed what is out. They haven't done anything to plaster the system everywhere it needs to be to get more sells.

Price isn't an issue, because people are quite happy paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars on iPhones, iPads and such. Even though they don't advance as much as the PSP to Vita did. or PS2 to PS3 did.

aww did I hurt your sensibilities with some 'strong' words like fuck? I'm really fucking sorry...I am..truly

and why am I being sore? LOL...

and no genius I said one comment about first parties. That's it. I'm sure you can read the rest (not advised tho...strong language detected)

and ugh how can it can be a dumb argument to question the concern about of someone who doesn't own the system yet worries about it day and night? 0_o

but hey next time please you sweet and innocent language terms like fanboy okie?

Again, silly answers. You can't get enough? The more you talk, the more you seem angry. Needless to say more, your words speak for themselves.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

How can people read tone from written text???

*stares at the screen* I guess i would get frustrated too when I'm staring at words that make sense and ruin my "I hate Vita/Sony thread in the Sony Discussion forum".

Again, you all that think the Vita doesn't have exciting things happening, should really check out the most powerful thread on this website. The Official PlayStation Vita thread, because that is where the majority of Sony/PlayStation fans have gone to , because of threads like this.

Is this a serious thread?
You're making a thread only about 3rd party non-downloadable, non-exclusive games lineup??
Talk about negativity...

Furthermore, I believe it was mentioned by sony themselves that they see the vita as a portable home console, so of course there are going to be ports, because it can handle them. Why would a dev make a game vita exclusive when the quality is already so high that it could easily just be put on ps3 as well? Why does any of this matter when it's still getting games?

I agree with everything you said, but you can't blamed the prices for the phones and handhelds. Those have become a part of the mainstream society, whereas the gaming handhelds have not. Gaming companies can't really compete directly with the smartphones (at least not anymore), specially when games on a handheld cost $30 vs $1-$2 for a smartphone game (or some of them free). Even Nintendo with it's massive success in portables have been affected by this.

I's really sad to see people paying $600 for a phone but $300 for a handheld it's too expensive...

The sad part is that the iPad 3 (which sells at retail for $500 up to $900) isn't really better than an Amazon Kindle or Nexus 7.

Gamers should be getting the PS Vita because it carries countless things over from the PS3 feature set and it has possible consumer demanded feature that fits inside a perfectly crafted handheld.

It's just people don't know about the system. Based on my paying job, I see people who want to buy gaming machines, but they don't know what the Vita is or what it does.

Not an act, in fact, I think the PSP for example was amazing (precisely for lacking the problems Vita is lacking - remember MGS, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasies, all exclusives - among literally hundreds more, right from the bat). I was a little pissed of with it dying and keep a lot of games unreleased in the west - so do you I assume - but it's back catalogue makes up for this - and then some more.

Pardon me to like companies like Level 5, Capcom, Square, Atlus and not being like Ryuzaki - who likes Hatune Miku and AKB! - or badgenome who loves niche games like earth defense force. I played persona 4 to hell - not for me now, as I didn't replayed even my favorite jrpg ever, but great addition to vita's library, but still not "exclusive". I think the market generally agrees with me, or else vita sales wouldn't be like that, even with the high price (which is not that high). Vita was not meant to sell like that (sales forecasts) and that always have consequences - or else no system would ever fail

I (and most everyone) hate long discussions, I don't even know what I'm typing, really, it's useless, as no one wins these. That was my  opinion - I just think Vita's support will start very poor in 2013 and that can affect both sales and future support - as other platforms won't stop growing. Put yours, as you did and ok, I accept it, why would I change it, even if I could.

-> So you're pointing out that PSP had a great 3rd party support with MGS which is probably the LAST AAA title released on system, FF games of which the only mention worthy title was Crisis Core since everything else was on "billion" other platforms and Monster Hunter which is really relevant anywhere except Japan?

-> Market agrees with you? Seriously? This site is dedicated to tracking sales... So look up how well niche titles from Level 5, Atlus, Square... sold on 3DS. Niche titles aren't the selling power behind 3DS, Mario is, Zelda is... If the niche titles were the strong selling point then they would sell better as well. But they do enrich the whole library. Besides it's not 3rd party developers job to "define" the console, it's console manufacturers job with their 1st party studios.

-> This is not a discussion. This is nothing more than a troll thread, because you obviously find joy in trolling PS Vita. Well if that rocks your boat, knock yourself out I guess.

But Vita is still here, still selling and still getting new games. Do I care that they aren't 3rd party exculsives? No, as long as they are something I want to play. And I assure you mine and every others Vita owners whish list is quite extensive.

And for you, just an advice... If you don't like the Vita or games that are being released for it - don't buy the system or the games. Buy something you'll enjoy, and then DISCUSS and exchange experiances with fellow consumers. And as far as your "opinion" on 3rd party exclusives in 2013 goes... For as long as you don't brake the 2nd law of termodynamics, build the time machine and time jump to end of 2013 and back with some FACTS, I can't really say that I  care about it....

Then Sony's plan is not working.

For two reasons: 1 - it's not close (or near close) to official sales prediction. Suhei Yoshida himself said Vita support is not not exactly good - having great difficult convincing third parties.

The games now were being made a long time ago, don't you agree? Like I said, if those two items were not a problem, no system would ever have problems or in the end, die.

Guys, I'm going to end here with just one note. Well, I think there's a problem, big one too, whoever don't, feel free to disagree, but stop telling me not to say it. My final say is this:

Vita had a Vita game heaven last february  - left a lot of people disappointed. Then after 4 months another one was promised, lots of speculation. This time it couldn't fail! They even said they took in consideration the negative feedback from the other one...Didn't happen. Then when all eyes were on it at TGS, it couldn't fail whatsoever, Sony was TGS king and this time alone in the spotlight... and the biggest game was a PSP port... A PSP PORT.

Well, you can see this whatever way you want, really, but don't say I can't see it as a bad sign.

I can think of 3 right off the top of my head
-Soul Sacrifice
-Final Fantasy X HD remake(yes this does count even though its also on PS3)
-Sly Cooper(even though its also on PS3)

Anyway the holiday lineup is great for Vita. Most of these games didn't get announced until E3. So...yeah.
