How can something be a clone, even though it does everything entirely differently,or wrong?

a clone is sth. that is completely the same - does that mean you think SSB is a "very bad game" ?

If you clone something and later alter it, is that thing still a clone?

Yes lol. Its called a lawsuit (if everything is kept the same) and the fact that when people see it and instantly think of Smash, makes it sound even more guilty of being a clone.

He lost the second he asked how it was a clone of Smash and so did you. Also if anyones the partisan its you for quoting me in the first place. I surely didn't start this "debate" with you.

Haha, yea you just baited very well by calling a perfectly fine game a "very bad game", well done. The beta is surprisingly fun and btw I'm playing it right as we speak :). I'm not sure how any of the SSB online parts worked (I only played it at friend's homes, although I do own a GC), but judging from the beta PASBR is doing fine in that regard. Have a good day, sir.

Not picking sides (even though my sig and avater do that for me) but you think it is a knock off, not a clone. Use that word from now on to avoid any confussion.
