Im at university doing econonics. Long term goal is to be a stock brocker or an economic analyst.

Small business owner, mainly in business development and sales. Spend significant time on the road getting business, also in the office doing...bit of everything honestly. I repair machines, set up accounts, be customer service, process orders, keep stock in and work in shipping. All about efficiency and keeping margins steady while energy costs continue to climb.

Clearly i don't. Networking has always been a complete non-starter for me. I don't know people, and i don't know who i should talk to to know people

Plus a lot of those "money everywhere" type jobs are scams. I got roped into two just this year.

I don't do those scams, and I'm very intuitive on what is and what isn't a scam. I'm an entrepreneur.

Not real "scams" (like pyramid schemes or selling steak-knives), but the kind of jobs that are available because there's a good reason no-one wants to do them, like campaign solicitor (that i did for one day, got fired the first day for not meeting the day-one quota of contributions, and had to report to the damn Pennsylvania Department of Labor to force them to pay me for the work that i did), or inventor-taker for RGIS (which wasn't hard work, but they had ludicrous expectations for me to get to the job-site).

I don't really know about a career goal though, anything so i can achieve my life goal I guess. but i'm going to university either next year or the year after to do a History and politics degree probably, so i'll see

yeah ive seen those jobs.
just last week someone tried to hire me for a job, needed immediately and a phone interview. I was like, " that sounds fishy".
So i checked out reviews online and saw that its one of those hire and fire companies and they wanted me to temp before full time. Get outta my face with that noise.

Iphone developer. I am about to do contracts soon online and work from home. Or if I am lucky I will get a phone call back and go to Georgia , Atlanta for a iPhone developing contract. Also, I have always thought of doing an iphone app on vgchartz.com. I wanted to be a doctor ,but I heard being a doctor in this economy sucks because all the old doctors arent retiring so the graduates cant find jobs :/.

If you want to travel around the world I would suggest another university major ...

A History and/or Political Science degree will open no more doors in your career than a high school diploma will, and you will have difficulty getting a job that will provide you with the income necessary to travel.
