That sucks, which is blunt to say, but shit I kind of wish he had a motive even if it was a bad one. The fact that he did it for practically no reason is just insane and I think he needs help.

more likely than not he is a born psychopath, which means he can't feel empathy or remorse - in that case there is no help for him as you can't teach these people these feelings
