My priorities

I want no loading, no pop-in, far draw distances, in-engine cutscenes only, smart AI, realistic physics with destructible everything, immergent story/progression, persistent and naturally eroding change to game worlds, more things in game that you don't have to kill with natural habitats and interactions (see Xenoblade Chronicles or Monster Hunter with wild life doing its own thing). Dynamic context sensitive animation systems (like Naughty Dog games), more realistic engaging AI (see The Last of Us), and stories that draw the player in (see Walking Dead). You know... all the things that can improve gameplay or immersion.

30fps solid > my priorities > 60fps > 720p > 1080p > AA > Dynamic light/shadows

I want it all :)

Around the Network

60 fps makes more sense, I want my smoothness.

fps's and hertzz

What about games like GOW3 that technically runs at 60fps but averages like 45? That should be the way to go for a few games!

It's not running consistently if it averages 45fps. That means it's missing frames and you get stutter / micro pauses or if not v-synched screen-tearing.

A lot of people don't notice stutter, 3:2 pulldown filter to convert 24fps to 60fps for movies has never bothered the majority of people. Sure why not, the faster the frames come on average the lower the input lag on average. Just keep it v-synched, I rather have an inconsistent framerate than tearing half way down the screen.
