Eh, I was really burned on FFXIV already and there are already better free-to-play games out there that do all the cool FFXIV games better.

While FFXIV is filled with old ideas that the game makes feel even older (though I guess they finally added jump) and new ideas badly implemented, we have wonderful new free-to-play games like Guild Wars 2 that is filled to the brim with new (and good) ideas.

Still though, at least it's a cool way to restart the world.

The final battle in the current version is epic, and we only have one chance to do it. I'm not high enough yet for the fight, but it's okay because I know what happens. You actually missed out on a good game when they revamped the current version after the patch with the jobs. It got so much better. It's only going to get better once ARR is released.
