I refuse to even watch the video.

I have just read gilgamesh's comment as I couldn't resist clicking on the thread.

I hope this no-spoiling strategy will make this an even more unforgettable experience.

Hell yeah man :D we are in the same boat darth kun

AMAZING=)

That video really makes me itch to play the game. The reason being, I kept thinking about what I would do differently from the guy playing it. I love that. There really and truly seems to be no "right" way. I even had the impression that most of the fighting could have been avoided with stealth. While I'm more of a "kill everything and find everything" player, I really like when there is a lot of variety in what paths you can travel. Anyone actually planning an approach where you live and let live?

The survival-focused, limited-resources nature of the game appeals to me as well. Seeing how few bullets the player had, it seems as though you will absolutely have to use other means to defeat your enemies beyond just shooting at them. Choke holds, make-shift melee weapons, and even just picking up stuff--the brick part was awesome--come across as vital and necessary, rather than just alternatives to the gun. That makes it more interesting, in my opinion.

I also very much like that Ellie seems to take care of herself while still being an important part of the experience.

Not trolling. This looks boring imo.

Very Slow. I exact this to be cut scene heavy.

agreed

it played well, but so far it looks like it will be slow paced and you'll be spending more time just walking around. its from ND so i wasnt expecting it to much different from there UC games, oh well at least its rated M and the girl doest look to be to annoying and in the way

graphics dont look to impressive typical poor anisotropic filtering on ground textures and shadows seen in most all games this gen. there good for consoles but cant touch anything on PC if you have a rig even 3rd party games from like the last 2-3 yrs outdo it in many areas so its harder for non console only gamers like myself to be impressed with

It's never realistic to compare console titles to that of PC games (especially a PC from two years ago till current day - when this console is nearly six years old). It looks fantastic for what it's running on and that's all that it really needs.

im just mad ND aint releasing it on PC

im sure when it releases it will win plenty of graphics awards, but its hard to compare it to other titles when most games have been open world and FP the games that are in 3rd person are war themed or shooter heavy which have much more enemies and other moving things on display so this and UC are always goint to be able to push more visuals

I'll take care of it:

scripted runnimg no real environments not imprsive

My concerns are still valid. You walk down a linear path until you enter a combat area. There only seems to be one possible way to go, everything else is conveniently blocked. This time, they had the part in where they had to get the ladder, in the E3 demo it was already placed, nothing else changed. The combat looks way better than what Uncharted had to offer but I still fear that it will be "Hit square and depending on where you and your enemy stand and what weapon you have in your hand something epic happens".

The game will definitely be really really good and garner a lot of accolades, it's just not my cup of tea I guess. And did this video suffer from framerate issues or is this just me being sleepy? Around 1:25 it looks like 20 fps max.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
