I love timelapse videos and it always surprises me how fake the real world can look in some of them.
For example this awesome timelapse from the ISS.

Would you give these 'graphics' any authenticity if they appeared in a game?
I downloaded the 1080p version onto the ps3 through ps3youtube.com, very relaxing to watch just before turning the system off.

Or from the new movie Timescapes, looks fake to me. Could as well have been a demo for a new GPU.
