Everything broken for me except the first screenshot...
Edit: works after you go to the site and look at the pictures there; and only the pictures you looked at work. Weird... The pictures are low-res though. Are there 1080p versions?

Weird stuff going on with those screenshots, but the presentation link works, very interesting.
The ultimate question is, how will it all hold up used together while dynamically loading in new geometry and textures as you move through the world.
What I would like to see most next gen is less loading screens, seamless indoor outdoor transitions.
I thought I was looking at an action figure. I don't know much about the technical aspects of graphics but I'm impressed. I'm hoping this is the norm for the next but we'll have to wait and see.

There's already a video for the engine, if one is that essential to you. These are just new screens. If they update it with a new vid, I'll add it. |
cool. I have never seen one before only the screen (old and now the new).

That is some amazing stuff there, who needs ray-tracing?

I don't know why I thought this thread would be about unreal tournament 4
Time for hype
It looks amazing, very impressive. The games that use it will look amazing.
But how, how can they pretend to run that on the next gen consoles? If you look at that pdf, you see that it runs at 30fps and at "1080p at 90%" which I guess means that it runs at 1080p 90% of the demo with 1 GTX680. And they have had a lot of time to optimize the engine since the GDC.
So, as I said, it's very impressive, but only the ones with a very high-end PC will be able to enjoy it with all the bells and whistles.
Please excuse my bad English.
