bisoft has launched Uplay PC, and to kick things off, select Ubisoft PC titles are available through Uplay PC for as little as £1 for a limited time.

Uplay PC “replaces individual game launchers” and lets gamers access all their Uplay-enabled PC games and Uplay services in the same place.

The service includes new features such as an integrated shop, direct purchase and download of games, a friends list and chat system.

PC versions of Driver: San Francisco, From Dust, Silent Hunter 5 and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2 available for £1 for a limited time.

Anno 2070, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Might & Magic: Heroes® VI, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction are discounted up to 75%, also for a limited time.

I'm probably going to buy all four $1 games (I mean, really, why not? They're a dollar!), then never use Uplay again.

would be a bad idea. I wonder how it has worked out for ea so far. as long as they keep their games on valve or amazon download with no need to have uplay installed i will still buy their pc games. if not oh well there are other games out there.

Really wanted from dust but my crappy pc (pentium 4) wont run it!!!! Damn time to upgrade, its done me a good 7 yrs of service though.

If you've already purchased a game through Steam that gets pulled from the store, it remains available for download, just not purchase.
