I am really wanting to join one this year, and haven't found one locally that I'd like to join. Would anyone here be interested in doing a league with me?

I believe his thread was a prediction thread. I'm talking about an actual fantasy league, where you pick players and play against each other.

Fantasy football works like this:
On a given day, before the start of the full season, you hold a live draft with all participating members. During the draft, each person takes turns choosing players for their team. The choices are either based on a snake-type draft, where orders are randomized, and in an order, each person selects players to add to their team, or an auction draft where players are chosen at random, and players bid on the players to add them to their team (but each person has limited funds in which to buy players).
Once you've built a team, you then choose players to field each week. When these players play in real life, you earn points for each time they do something in game. Each week, you play another person, and the person with the most points wins.
Its quite fun, IMO.

I'll be interested. Couple of questions:
Do we pick a full roster, and then specify which from the roster plays each week? That's how the MLL fantasy league works.
Any way to add any financial incentive to it?
Id do it.

You pick a full roster from the draft pool - so you have to compete against the others in the league. Yes, you specify who plays each week, and once the initial draft is over, you can buy additional players from the waver wires (or trade). So it works very similar to MLL or other fantasy sports.
I can see if we can do a paid league if you'd like - I know others do have paid leagues w/ cash prizes.
