Well, this is a pity. It was the only game that got me interested in the 360 - and I (like most people) were expecting it out around June/July.

The official statement is that "the game isn't late, because we never announced a release date". In fact 4, 360 games now seem to be delayed... maybe it was internal review time:

4 Big-Name X360 Games Delayed Until Fall - UPDATED
Mass Effect (see editor's note below), Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, and Blue Dragon (see editor's note below) have all had their release dates pushed back to late summer/early fall.

If this comes out the same month as GTA or Halo it's gonna suffer in sales...

I wish Bioshock and Mass Effect were being delayed because they were going to be on the PS3.  Afterall, they are Take 2 and Bioware, not Microsoft.  Oh well, at least Eternal Sonata is coming to the PS3 it appears.

Guess this means the PS3's lineup is looking a little better compared to the 360 in the next 4 months.

Bioshock could come to PS3 in the future, even Mass Effect can.

 

There is a Bioware game being made for  PS3, it could just be a port of Mass Effect... of course I'm just saying these are possibilities, nothing else...

Yeah - both are somewhat bare. Its a bit worrying that it looks like everyone is gearing up for Xmas/4th qrt releases already - and its not even May.

BTW - I think GTA is coming in October, and Halo in November. Big few months starting from September... (wasn't that when the big PS3 titles are launching? Maybe MS is playing tit for tat...).
