As a film enthusiast, I can wholeheartedly agree. The Movies was my biggest ever gaming disappointment (Black & White is up there too).

Molyneux is one of gaming's few legends (Syndicate is one of my personal all-time faves) but he should learn to keep his mouth shut unless he can actually deliver the goods.

Lol, I am. This game is going to be insane. Also, what hype is everyone talking about? Quite the opposite to the first Fable, Lionhead have been remarkably quiet about F2 and it's features

My guesses:

1. Trees that will express love.

2. Clouds that will create your dreams on the go.

3. Wind that will teach you the meaning of loneliness.

Just going along with previous Molyneux statements and promises.

I get that ppl are still pissed because Molyneux promised the world with Fable one ckmlb. But lets face it, he delivered an amazing WRPG. And in the case of Fable 2, Molyneux has hardly promised anything, and what he has promised, while innovative, seems well within the realms of possibility.

Out of curiosity, what were the promised things from Fable 1, because i heard about it quite a while after it released, and hence wasn't overtaken by the proposed hype that occured before release

the main one was that you could plant an acorn and watch it grow into a tree. didn't happen

At the end of the day I think it will be an EXTREMELY impressive WRPG. And as it is (or was before ME) Microsoft's flagship WRPG, I cant see it being less than the incredible game the first one was.
