Blatant plug, I know, shame on me. But none of the money goes to me.
There's a company called Saurapod Studios making a game called Castle Story, which allows you to build castles via a mix of minecraft and traditional rts elements, instructing your guys where to place each block of the castle. You then have to defend you castle from invaders.
The game's kickstarter just opened now, and $15 will get you access to the beta (est October), and the final game when it releases. $25 gets you the above and the Pre Beta very soon. Buy it, the game looks sweet. Demo video is below.
