Just three weeks into its official service, Phantasy Star Online 2 has topped the 730,000 registered ID mark, according to Sega.

As of July 26, the free-to-play online RPG has 730,000 registered IDs. The game's official service began on July 4. It reached a peak of 91,513 simultaneous user connections on July 7 at 23:00.

Sega also said today that it will be looking into starting service for the game in international markets.

I'm cautiously looking forward to PSO2. I had quite a lot of fun playing offline multi-player with some friends in PSO. Still not too keen on F2P models in general, but I guess I'll have to see how this one works out.

Always nice for Sega to have another hit as well.
