I srsly doubt the Wii U will outsell the Wii. It will be more expansive, the wii at launch was the cheapest of all consoles on the market while the Wii U will be the most expansive, the economy is not as good and more importantly there is alot more competition aiming at the casual audience (Kinect, Iphones...), most casual gamers don't even know about the Wii U and some hardcore gamers are doubting it. It will be a sucess in the long run but it will not have a launch as explosive as the Wii.

I think they should sell around 2million, the Vita is already at 2million and it launched last december in Japan so it will have time to sell alot more units on black friday.

My prediction is that the Wii U will have outsold the Vita by holyday 2013. At best a little sooner (late summer/early fall).

Yeah, I messed up. It will sell more then last year which means it will be its best holiday. I meant LT best holiday would be later possibly next year.

I'm actually more optimistic about the Wii U than most seem to be here. With the Wii, Nintendo had that infamous inability to meet demand for like a year. So even if the Wii U doesn't have the appeal the Wii had at its launch, it could still sell more in its first holiday if Nintendo can stay on the ball with shipments.

That said, I still don't see it selling more than 3 million, and since the Vita has almost sold that many already, it doesn't look good for this prediction.

I little bit optimistic I'd say. I am going to buy two wiiUs to help you with your prediction!
