not a chance, i think the vita will end the year with 8 million units sold, there is so way the WiiU can reach that.

There is no way that the Vita will end the year with 8 million units sold without a price cut.

maybe its very optimistic but i do think CoD and AC will sell butloads of units. ohh i should mention i mean 8 million units shipped not sold accorind to vgchatz

Those two games may encourage some people to buy a Vita to play them, but the names of those games makes them appear to be spinoffs of Black Ops 2 and AC3, so most people will just get the console version. I doubt either of those games are good enough to get people to pay at least $300 just to play them.

Vita 8m LoL

Wii U 5m easy

I don't really know about Wii U, could be awful, massive or anything in between for all I know!

But 3DS will explode, I have no doubt about it.

Tbh I can see this happening depending on price, if the U is a good price it can shift 4-5m easy as NSMB.U is going to be the top selling game for next year and will drive sales, if DQX is released on U this year that's a good 500k to 1m in sales itself. Vita seems to be making a very slow trek as far as sales go I can see it being at 3-4m at the end of this year.

Nah.
even with mario bros as launch i doubt it will reach a whole year of vita
yet it might be possible in the jap market if things dont get better.

Ridiculous prediction. If Wii U sells 3 mil it'll be a huge success; if Vita sells 4 mil all year it'll be a monumental failure. There's no way BOTH will happen.

PSV will easily sell 4 mil, guaranteed. 5 mil is a safe bet. 6 mil is likely. Wii U will sell 2 mil if it catches on. It'll sell 3 mil if it's an enormous marketing success. 4 mil is out of the question.

9 mil holiday sales for 3DS is borderline insanity. I say borderline because the DS did manage to exceed that amount at least once in '08, but still, it barely broke 7 mil in '06. I think 7 mil would be terrific for 3DS this holiday. 8 mil is a stretch goal. 9 mil.... just stop.

But isn't the Vita going to sell about 6 million this year?

Edit: probably closer to 5 million - but the vita will still have the november boost and some of december - it's alraedy sold almost 2 million; you think it's going to tell less than 2 million more the rest of its year?

I thought Sony forecast 16million combined PSP/Vita. Since the PSP has been fading in Japan and already faded everywhere else, the majority of that should be Vita, right?

Unless of course Sony revises their forecast down when they announce their results for the quarter that just ended.

i thought they are gonna do bundles for 270$ with AC and a 4 memory GB card. honestly thats a good deal, also ubisoft and activision seem to have awesome marketing teams im sure they can provide the right marketing to show that they are there own stand alone games
