Basically, maybe it's due to the extreme heat we've been having today (heat in Britain? Who'd have thought it?), but there are a large number of tiny midge/fly-like insects in my room, trying to fly into my face and generally make sitting in here uncomfortable. I'm currently wearing a t-shirt over my head to protect my eyes, and earphones (with no music) to stop them from flying into my ears. My mouth is also firmly shut. 

So I guess this thread is about insects in general - how annoying do you find them, and how do you deal with them? As well as any interesting insect-related stories, of course!

Do you guy's have window's or fly swatters in Britain? ;P

Put the AC on if it's really hot and find a fun to put right in front of your face.
It's extremely hot right now in Florida but we always get that.

EDIT: I have to say, I was thinking why this wasn't in NSFW forums at first. xD

I've got a net in my room, but it's primarily for catching craneflies and moths, and these things go through the holes

Our air conditioning is messed up, and actually makes the building hotter rather than cooler (which made the house unbearable today)

Bugs suck lol, but really how did so many go in your house, your room no less?!

Call someone to fix it!

By the gods..well I'd say if you have the cash anyway, you should call an exterminator. I cannot stand bugs in my room!
