On a show called "What would you do?", actors are publicly placed in situations where they appear to need the help of a stranger. The actor's trouble can range from everyday annoyances like having a flat tire to life-or-death situations like being abused by a partner. The show acts as an experiment to record how and why certain people decide to get involved/remain passive when they encounter someone whom needs their help.

In the video below, the show features three different actors whom pretend to struggle with a flat tire. The first actor is a white male. The second is an attractive white female. And the third is a Muslim male (not sure on race though). Both the white male and female are helped by many different people and only have to wait a few minutes before new people come to help. The Muslim male, however, waited for a much longer time before anyone got involved. That is until a young man comes along who seems almost driven to help a fellow person in need. He even goes as far as to reject money offered by the pretended victim.

This may not be the most incredible act of selflessness out there. In fact, things like this probably happen a lot, but I thought it was a beautiful act that you all might enjoy it. This is one of those videos that restores your faith in humanity when you're feeling down imo..

Great kid at heart

I had something very similar just the other way around:
Late at night around 3 a.m. I was driving home when I had a flat tire, and since I had never changed a tire before, I was completely screwed.
Over time, dozens of cars drove by, nobody stopped to help me - but that wasn't too surprising, since I wasn't even actively signalling the cars driving by that I need help.

Then suddenly, a car stopped and a young muslim left his car, came to me and asked what the problem was, and in the end since I have two left hands he changed the flat tire ALL by himself. And when he was finished, he even rejected accepting any money at all, and as quickly as he came he disappeared and left me baffled.

That incident impressed me so much that even now, several years after, I often think of this young man and wish I could meet him once again and do something for him.

Honestly. If you are a guy who doesn't know how to change a tire you need to learn. I'm sure a lot of the people who stopped to help that girl did so because people realize most guys do know how to change tires while most girls don't. I'm not trying to be sexist here, but that is simply the case... Still, they could have at least asked the last guy if he needed help. Also, I don't think our society is that bad to not help him just because he is Muslim. They probably just figured he had things under control. Still, props to that last guy. I wish everyone was like that instead of all the greedy people out there that only care about power.
