Stefl do us a favor and vote yourself, or consequently put up a defense because you're about to get lynched.

I am here because I am going to defend myself, because I actually plan on starting to play...

@pezus

I am willing, but motivation is an arse sometimes. Also, with not really paying attention there is the problem that you can't ask good questions... like I said, it's a harsh job to "join" a game when you started lurking once...

You're implying that nen's saying that "are you a human" being the right question to ask makes him mafia. There's the flaw in your implication.

Well, I planned on starting to play when the last weeks wednesday passed... T.T

Yeah thanks for noticing this. Linkz, please answer how my claim was bullshit mafia claim. You said "when j0 is enforcing 50% voting lynch". In actuality, it allows for town to be 3Mafia v 4Town with a voteless, and still lynch a mafia.

As I just said, how can 3 voting townies meet the 4 votes required for majority?

My character is a monk.

You don't have a name? I can't recall a monk from the movies or video game.

This is why I removed my vote immediately at the beginning. I wasn't paying attention and joke voted. Thankfully day hadn't started yet.

Interesting prof. It is all so convenient, isn't it? Your votes have consequences, eh... might it be that you said that so we would not push you to vote for someone? What about linkz post about voteless being very unbalanced for this particular game?

Well, in all reality Linkz point wasn't that strong.  With an odd # of players, it takes the same to vote somebody out but due to the rules, with an even number of players, it actually takes 1 less vote than a normal game to vote somebody out.  Contrary to what you are saying, some sort of limited voting role or something of that sort could easily seem plausible in this game.

You are right about there being no difference in the event of there being an even number of players; however, it does make a difference for an odd amount. Say there's 4 townies and 3 mafia. Because of prof, town could never get the majority needed for a lynch. As such mylo/lylo is earlier than in a normal game.

Fact of the matter is that on a normal day without any claims being revealed, majority lynches are very rare. Town is generally inactive and don't usually come to a consensus. Throwing in a voteless makes reaching a majority that much more of an obstacle.

Furthermore, thinking that there are 4 mafia or mafia can recruit IS more of a reason not to believe the claim. That gives scum even more control over the day.

Let me interrupt, because this is slightly different from what you said earlier.

You said that ESPECIALLY in this game where it only takes 50% to vote, voteless is imba. However, here you say that it's imba because it allows for lylo at a shorter time. The latter is a normal consequence of majority voting, but you specifically said it was imba because of the 50%.

@ your furthermore, I wasn't think that there is 4 mafia or that mafia can recruit. I said that people who think my role is entirely imbalanced makes me think they know something I don't, because voteless in a game where town outnumbers mafia standard 3v1 by 2 extra people makes complete sense for a voteless, and even a siblings on top of it. It would still be balanced. My problem is with people (you and nen) saying it's still imbalanced, which makes me think mafia is stronger than that because you're mafia and you know the distribution of number and roles.

Again, I do not think mafia starts with 4, or can become 4. I think that people who say 3 mafia is imbalanced with a voteless townie know something I don't.

Furthermore, I'm still voteless if there are 3 mafia or 4. I can't change my role, so keep thinking it's imbalanced, otherwise maybe you're facing a stronger powered town than you previously thought? Just throwing that out there.

Wow such blatant meta gaming.

My bold is what's imba about 50%.

As for your underlined. You said you figured it out and it's me, nen, and mario. SAK had already flipped as scum. I may be bad at counting though.

I haven't decided if there are 3 or 4 mafia, nor so I think it matters in terms of mislynches since my pool of suspects could be lynched safely  in and order with a town victory regardless. 4 mafia with one being voteless would be pretty balanced though, no?
