Here's a simple, yet effective and fun poll that has been gaining traction in the US.

The poll asks you simple yes/no questions about American issues, and allows you to additionally choose nuianced answers, based on available candidates. Unlike other polls, ALL candidates are included in the discussion - Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, Constitutionalist, Socialist, and Rent-is-Too-Damn-High parties.

The poll is at www.isidewith.com

Here's my result: http://www.isidewith.com/results/11635064

  1. Ron Paul (GOP candidate): 94%
  2. Gary Johnson (Libertarian): 93%
  3. Mitt Romney (Republican): 65%
  4. Virgil Goode (Constitutionalist): 44%
  5. Stewart Alexander (Socialist): 18%
  6. Jeremy McMillian (RITDH): 16%
  7. Barak Obama (Democrat): 10%
  8. Jill Stein (Green): 10%

It looks like you and I would get along rather well. I seem to be a little more midgrounds than you, but not much.

90% Gary Johnson, 88% Ron Paul, 80% Virgil Goode, 72% Mitt Romney, 20% Barack Obama.

90% Libertarian, 72% Republican, 30% Green, 20% Democratic.

The image missrepresents me

Jimmy McMillan (Rent is Too Damn High) 59% (healthcare)
Gary Johnson (Libertarian) 55% (domestic policy/immigration)

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Funny, the two politicians I never heard of share the most views with me:

Jill Stein (90%)
Gary Johnson (86%)
Barack Obama (74%)
Ron Paul (70%)
Mitt Romney (16%) (no surprise there :/)

90% Green
79% Libertarian
74% Democratic
16% Republican

ughh....having issues with the first question even(abortion).

i think that abortion really is murder. it is a human being at the moment of conception. but that i believe there should be some abortions allowed in the cases where there are health concerns to the mother, or major problems that have been identified for the child. also in cases of rape (while i feel there should be an emphasis on carrying the child and putting it up for adoption, but not going to force a woman to do that). morning after pill is ok as well.
But i also think there should be a large focus on prevention and sex education of children as well as a focus on an expanded and better encouraged adoption system.

so i feel caught between two of the options and cant decide on which to pick, eventhough its probably not that important in the larger scale of this test.

"Its like sex, but with a winner!"

There are other options:

No, only after the first trimester

Yes, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child's health
No, I don't agree with it but it's not my right or the government's to ban abortion
No, but providing birth control, sex education, and social services could help reduce the number of abortions
Let each state decide

Add your own stance

Those are the available choices.. Maybe one is more appropriate?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I'm actually surprised that I matched Gary Johnson 100%. I don't know that I fully agree with him on every issue. It might be that on the few questions where I was a bit undecided, that I selected the answer Johnson gave. I expected to match Ron Paul and Johnson highly, but it was higher than I expected.

Here's the full list... Edit: Left is the number before I changed the importance for each question, and right is after.

100% to 99% Gary Johnson
98% to 99% Ron Paul
62% to 68% Virgil Goode
53% to 58% Mitt Romney
30% to 13% Stewart Alexander
13% to 11% Jimmy McMillan
12% to 7% Jill Stein
8% to 5% Barack Obama

81%/81% to 77%/78% My state/American voters

100% to 99% Libertarian
53% to 58% Republican
12% to 7% Green
8% to 5% Democratic
