Forums - Politics - If Obama is Carter, how is Romney Reagan?

I swear we've been over this before. Obama has positioned himself that no-one can really accuse him of being Carter, mostly in a foreign policy perspective. Romney also is in no way Ronald Reagan, for, like it or not (i don't) Reagan was able to inspire people. Romney's all John Kerry: someone inoffensive that the party dug up so they can trot them out and say "see this guy? He's not the other guy. Don't you hate that guy?"

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Well yeah... not national defense wise... and the new policy shift on Syria greatly adds to that.

Economically though... he seems to be hitting all the key points that lead us to Stagflation.

Some would argue we're already facing stragflation and there are just a number of factors hiding it right now, like the fed's artificial negative interest rates and LIBOR.

Feels like everyday products have been going up a lot more often.
