Do you know how attach ratio works? It's the average amount of games PER HARDWARE UNIT. It's whole purpose is to make software sales comparable REGARDLESS of the size of the user base.

Also, the amount of digital sales for the PS Vita is unknown and I would argue that it isn't very high considering the price of the memory needed to store those games.

I said it before and I'll say it million more times. A system wont sell unless it has pokemon on it.

Yes, i understand how it works. Thats why i brought it up. It showing the 3ds dosnt have many games people want. If the average person is only buying two. Chances are they both have Mairo in the title. Proveing once again 3rd party games donot sell well on a nintendo console. Id argue the didgital sales are pretty good. Regardless of memorry cost, i had 4 downloadable games plus all the apps on my 4 gig card. You seem a little hurt the attach ration is about the same. With 18 million people owning one they should have a higer ratio considring all the good games 3ds fans seem to think they have.

@mmmfishtacos So let me ask you this. What games are on your Vita? If any of them have a low attach ratio then your logic is flawed. Not every game has to sell well to be good. For example, Dead or Alive: Dimensions is the best fighting game on the 3DS IMO, but the game didn't sell noticably well. It sold 310k lifetime back in May 2011 when the system first came out.

Just because attach ratio is high on Vita doesn't mean everybody wants a particular title. Another example I want to use is Gravity Rush. Not everybody wants that game and it's attach ratio isn't high. But does that mean it's a bad game by any means? I can't say for sure without playing, but from what many who have played it said it's really good. When the Vita reaches higher sales and Gravity Rush (or whatever game) doesn't increase along with it's sales, doesn't mean that game wasn't bad or anything.

I would also like to bring this up. For people who say that 3DS owners had nothing to play until OOT 3D, have they ever heard of Dead or Alive: Dimensions? I mean I know this didn't sell well, but it was the first real Dead or Alive portable game. This game came out on May 24th and is a 3DS exclusive.

And what about Blazblue: Continuum Shift 2? Came out May 31st. I know the controls weren't to my or many people's liken, but it still came out. The game is my current best 2D fighting game on the 3DS.

If you can make assumption about what the average games are, I can do this too. I say chances are high that the 1,6 average games have uncharted and/or Gravity Rush in the title, "proving" that third party games don't sell on the PS Vita. "Chances are" and "Proving" do not go well together.

Of course we would be happy that goes without saying, but your missing the point.

Im not paying £200 for a remake which I played 10 years ago, the first 6 months of this console has been great and it would be hard to say otherwise.
