I thought it was a girl Sephirot sounds more like girl then a boy to me. And no I did not leave out the H on pupose.

And if you think he is more popular then James Bond in the gaming world then you are blind. Even if you and all your friends know him, there are still people like me who are not familiar with him. But James Bond knows everybody. Maybe there are no good James Bond games except of Goldeneye, but James Bond knows everybody. And I bet the younger gamers don´t know Sephirot that good.

Ah okay.

And the reason I said in the "gaming world" is because of course everybody knows who James Bond is, but not from his videogames, it's because he's a famous movie character. Goldeneye was pretty well recieved but that was a N64 game. Honestly i'm suprised you've never heard of Sephiroth. Have you ever heard of Final Fantasy VII? It's okay if you don't know anything about it. I'm not going to expect that everyone knows everything possible about the game.  :p

But surely you know how loved and iconic the game is? It's the highest selling Final Fantasy game and the 2nd best selling Playstation 1 game. It is responsible for making Jrpgs (back then just called Rpgs lol) accepted outside of Japan. Many consider it the best RPG or even game ever created. Besides this game is basically paying  tribute/fanservice for +15 years of characters/franchises on Playstation consoles. FFVII had a massive impact on Playstation. So much so that during videos/documentaries about Playstation they always set aside a few minutes to talk only about the game itself.

I have heard of him in this forums the first time, but did not really know who or what he was. And the first time I googled Sephirot I saw some pictures and he looked like a girl to me, that is why I said chick in the first post. And yes of course I´ve heard of FFVII, some of my friends and cousins played it nut never mentioned Sephirot.
