New monsta hunta for PSV or PS3

Well, stranger things happened before - like the series on 3DS - so nothing is out of the realm of possibilities

A Vita new game for now is almost impossible - wait for TGS to start hyping/hoping, but no matter what Capcom says, I still say PS3 localization is possible - why not - even with all the reasons they gave for scrapping it

Okay, GAF, this will be my first time doing this, but I'll just go ahead and do it.

First, I know many people will call me out, because I can't point to my source, and I can't tell many details, I know I would do the same, to my defence all I can say is that many Gaffers know me by now, I've never been banned, I've never lied, I've always been a serious poster, well not that serious, but not in a bad way anyway. :p

So here is the thing...

I can CONFIRM you guys that Monster Hunter will indeed arrive to the 3DS in North America (I don't really know about Europe's situation though), that will obviously be in 2013, what game will it be? will it be both 3G and 4? I can't be too specific, but there are two probable cases:

1) If 3G gets here we will also get 4.

2) If 3G doesn't come, that'll confirm 4 will be here.

Both cases we win.
I know this is more of a Cpt. Obvious thing, because it has been already teased, at least subtly, but I'm getting into this, so fans of the series can rest assured that the west will get their MH fix on their 3DS. Why I want them to know? because I know how it feels to be a waiting fan, I'm still waiting for my F-Zero fix, and my Dreamfall Chapters.

Edit: Wait, Confirming something without giving it's source is bannable? because if that's so, I'll just delete this, I don't want to get in any trouble.

Who knows what that means, but 8-4 were the guys that... translated MH Tri!, among others!!

Probably just the 3DS games localized. They're not that huge in the west but it's nice to see they're not neglecting their fans. People give Capcom a bad wrap but they at least try to bring us a lot of sequels or new and unique games even if they all have day 1 on disc dlc.

I think PS3 MH has a shot too. But I hope for 3G. Not 4 (yet), 3G.

I love capcom, but the way they're treating this game is torture. There has been those kind of cryptic messages for god knows how long!

I hope so, it's the most logical thing to do.

But even if it is a PS3 announcement it's good, since that game was released before the 3DS game and it'll show they have plans for the series in the west. The only thing I don't want is an announcement for MH4 - because that's proof enough they'll skip 3G altogether

To be fair, this really isn’t big news at all. But since we’re clinging to any hope of Monster Hunter localizations, we can’t help but post this.

Earlier today, Capcom UK posted a message on Twitter asking for Monster Hunter fansites/community to contact them.

This is what was written:

“Head up a Monster Hunter fansite/community?…we want to hear from you”

So yeah, nothing too big there. Although… maybe this could be tied to a Tri G confirmation coming at Gamescom? The trade show is taking place next week, and we do know that Capcom will be having a press event. Perhaps Capcom is trying to arrange something with Monster Hunter fansites prior to an announcement? Yes, I’m desperate!
