Well, he was not asking the question in a serious matter. He should at the very least tell us what kind of games he prefer in the OP.

Even if he sincerely wanted help to decide he still did it very unprofessionally.

When I used to work at funcoland (gamestop) a long long time ago, people used to do this on a regular basis (PS1 to N64 and back, PS2 to DC to Xbox and back). Thats why stores like this exist.  I dont think its ridiculous at all.


Isn't it just a waste of money in the end, though?

It is and usually for those customers I used to tell them that make choices on what they believe serves them best when it comes to games, but like everything in life, those tastes change and if they had the means, I wasnt one to stop them.  I would perfer the old fashion way of trading with your friends to experience games and systems you dont have, but people perfer the trade in route.

I thought he was asking seriously. Some people just impulse buy like that. He doesn't need to do anything proffessionally in a forum, he's not a journalist. He asked what PSV had and he said he likes RPGs.

Ultimately, with this thread it just seems you took offense too easily and decided to take a silly revenge.

Not at all, I am putting his OP in perspective. Even in forums there must be some kind of quality check. Otherwise the OP may appear as a trolling attempt.

He asked a straight question, there are thousands of threads like that with a single sentence. Anyway, by opening this thread you achieve nothing other than lowering thread quality even further if that was your intention.

 

BTW, when asked what he's interested in on Vita he's answer is literally "Gravity Rush looks really fun." That hardly implies that he's trying to put Vita in a better light than 3DS.

 

However, your response was "You just use this thread to say that you don't like Mario and that the only game worth buying for the system is a remake of a game originally released in 1998". Now that hints at paranoia. As I said, you're oversensitive.
