Basically you play the game like normal, and it records every point in a 3D space, and in editing you are free to change angles all you want

This is amazing! I just signed up for the beta, I hope I'll get in!

release it eh? MSony should take the source and embed it in their OS as a feature. would be really cool stuff.

it would indeed.  they could set up a "youtube" of game videos to share.  it would be fun to watch uncharted3 frag videos while waiting on friends to party up (for instance).  If i could control the camera myself that would be really cool (and educational for a n00b like me lol).
