I honestly haven't seen gameplay for the southpark title...but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually because it was 'south park' that it got so much recognition...did KH have gameplay demos at E3?

and yea :P Them Rock Pikmins totally should have made the case for it to be game of the show, rock solid evidence

2.) I was partially joking. Plus, Pikmin 3 had more than Rock Pikmin added to it. Aside from that it had more than Rock Pikmin added to it, It's also been missing in action for quite a few years. That's enough to grant it a Best of the Show Award.

1. Personally I thought all these games had a more impressive showing than Injustice. But I guess it's the 'new' surprise game

2. lol just no. that will be an extremely low standard. There were many other games that had so much better showings than pikmin. Other than TLOU, AC3, Beyond, and watch dogs all had more buzz and praise. Tbh I think I saw more praise for P100 than Pikmin. It was the new and woah type of game in the Nintendo line up outside of zombiU

2.) How would that be a lower standard? That's just a ridiculous idea. Pikmin 3 has a huge loyal following and is one of the best crafted games ever. P100 is basically Pikmin, btw, just with a different enviroment and characters.

I think you are missing the point here. Going by your theory then COD BO2 should win too..it has a much larger loyal fan following that Pikmin. These awards just basically reflect the titles that got the media buzzing during and post E3, nothing more nothing less. Pikmin 3 is not one of them, at least not to the level of the titles I mentioned. This however does not mean it can't be your personal Game of the show. I thought the info and media on AC Liberations were very impressive as well..most probably my personal handheld game of the show but I know Sound Shapes got more praise overall.

OT: Not shocked by The Last Of Us' praise, it's Naughty Dog and that showing was nothing short of stellar.

Basically. Nearly everytime they've shown one of their games this gen, it's stolen the show.
