i knew this pastor (outside the context of a church) he told me that psychics were actually possessed by demons. i couldnt help but imagine him burning some poor girl for being a witch.

actually...every single minister ive ever met i would actually describe as some of the worst examples of humanity. just complete garbage.

and i dont much like jesus either. zombies....*shudder*

The belief is that you can not talk to spirits, because once they are gone, they are unreachable. So phychics and mediums are lead to belive that they are comunicating with spirits, but are in reality speaking with demons pretending to be spirits.

i am definitely not mistaken about what he said.  we went over it on a few occasions.

If he feels that burning someone for being a medium of a psychic is right, then he has a distorted view on that subject. Thought his view in the video that happy posted align similarly with my own beliefs. I don't believe killing or hurting people in the sake of religion is acceptable, and neither did Jesus. All of the death that has gone on in his name is despicable and unacceptable. This is the sort of thing that happens when people blindly follow a religion without doing their own research to try to truly understand.

Also the iconography of the cross itself is pretty much against Jesus' teachings. (Also on a side note, Buddha was also against any use of Religious symbolism. So it's funny that both Christianity and Buddhism use so much of it.)
