yes, and its the biggest tax increase in history. the american people have been suckered. |
That seems incredibly unlikely. The tax increase part anyway. I think at one point the income tax rate went up by like 50%.
As for the people who want single payer and are estatic about the ruling.... I'd suggest looking at what Howard Dean's opinion about the individual mandate being upheld meant for that.

| Zappykins said: Many people are satisfied with it, because it doesn't do enough. 'Obama Care' is almost exactly "Romney Care.' I think we all should have the same health care that the US Supreme Court and Congress get. It's still using a for-profit companies to manage people's health care - and making massive amounts of money for managers/CEO's in the process. But glad this part is over. |
Actually outside of being on the federal level, I believe Obamacare is less progressive then Romney care.

We've been bamboozeled!
Seriously though, repeating anything that comes out of Sarah Palin's mouth.....just tragic

| spaceguy said: Hence why he turned it into a tax. Congress has the power to tax. |
Indeed they do, which is hilarious since President Obama got snippy with reporters when they asked him if the new health care laws would ammount to a tax. Surprise! They do.
Did you guys like the recession? Hope so, because that shit is coming back.

Paying a little more taxes (the uninsured), how does that equal recession pt 2?
Uninsured healthcare is one of the number one expenses that Americans find themselves in today, SIMPLY so that they CAN work. Then, people who are uninsured cause my preiums to go up. This saves me, a hardworking, responsible citizen money, and keeps those other workers working instead of staying home sick or disabled.
I actually will pay less in premiums this year, and I will be buying more along with it. Am I wrong about this?
