they still make F4 fighters? aren't they like ancient?

Why should the islamist government buy their rogue military some expensive planes.

Yes they're opting for the JSF, but we all know that's vaporware

Something i didn't think of (which should be the immediate point to notice here) is that Syria has now potentially committed hostile war acts towards a NATO member.

Shit's about to get real

Aren't you a fast thinker? :D

But nah, it seems they're passing on this one:

(CBS/AP) ANKARA, Turkey - NATO will hold emergency talks on Tuesday to discuss Syria's downing of a Turkish jet fighter, but the alliance is not expected to take military action, even if it confirms Turkey's claim that the unarmed plane was attacked in international airspace.

I didn't notice any harsh responces, just typical hypocrisy and politically correct gibberish here and there... bla-bla-blah grave concerns... maintain close contact... continue to investigate... hold the Assad regime accountable.. bla-bla-blah - that's what old bitch said :D Probably a week or two Turkish nationalists will fight interwebz wars whether was F4 shot in international or Syrian airspace, while it's already seems rather irrelevant, and that's it. What a bummer.

Next time, Turkish, Do a Barrel Roll!

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

Turkey's scrambled jets three times in the last 24 hours in response to Syrian helicopters on the border

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

^As I said nothing will come out of it. NATO was pretty clear with it's message to Erdogan: "Go f**k yourself" (heh, so much for NATO). It's just Erdogan going bonkers over nothing and maybe trying to appeal to electorate. We're near the end of the episode about Syria, there was quite a lot hypocrisy and cynism, but no military intervention :D Maybe next season.

If there smth you should watch next, it's Karabakh, where the war is quite possible short-term and will involve all major players of the region. But it's problematic to follow Karabakh events if your only language is Enlgish, since presstitute keeps silence about it for the time being.

Yeah, i wasn't aware that anything was brewing in Nagorno-Karabakh. That would be very interesting to see, with Turkey and Azerbaijan and Armenia, with Israel's friendship with Azerbaijan for strategic purposes against Iran, and Russia's vested interests. Interesting stuff.

Homs, Syria. Reportage from the frontline (a lot of shooting and dead bodies in the video).

America, America... hah, funny people :D AFAIK, that was Mk 18, which he was holding, quite a rare beast.

The Syrian Government will fall, whether it'll be Turkey or Rebels has yet to be determined.
