Being a critic is simply having a large forum to provide your opinion.

The only time that should matter is when you group a lot of critics together and they give you a good idea or consensus on the topic.

i.e. just use rotten tomatoes or metacritic etc. That will give you a halfway decent opinion. Following any one person's opinion is just dumb.
