Play your PS3, just keep your eye out for a cheap second hand 360 between now and Halo 4, if its just your DVD drive thats broken you should be able to link cable your data across as long as the drive is at least the same size.

No point buying a brand new one, when the next gen is clearly on the horizon.

It turns on but it doesn't read discs at all. I have tried everythin from opening it up and messing with the insides its just dead and im not going to buy a new disc drive as that requires to much stuff to be done to it. 


New disk drive is £15, it's a 20 minute job to dump firmware off current drive, then flash it to new drive and install it.

Seriously, don't write off the idea before having a look on youtube for the (extremely irritatingly voiced) guides.

Well, you can always download Halo 4 to your hard drive (even though only God knows when it will be available).

Just try get a 2nd hand oe super cheap or even borrow a friends for 2/3 days to play Halo 4 then wait and buy the new Xbox next year!
just play PS3 for now. unless you feel you will die without the 360.. then buy one now.

My 360 broke after Gears of War 3. I'm holding out for the Xbox 720. It's not like Halo 2s community died as soon as the 360 came out, so a little patience never killed anybody.
