Forums - Gaming - Nintendo Exec Scott Moffitt 'Flattered' By Microsoft's Smart Glass

...now the fact it was held onto for so long without a release is enough evidence to me that move never would have been brought to market if it were not for the wii's success.

but for fucks sake - sony was already talking about NPG/ps3 interactivity for games before the wii U was announced last year.  but now that they wii U is announced somehow sony is spun up as just a copy cat for following through on their ideas...

That's indeed bullshit. But has anyone accused Sony of copying Wii U using the Vita though? I sure hope not.

MS's smartglass is attracting most of the trolls (probably due to it being a better idea than vita lol) but yes - sony is getting their fair share too; moreso right after E3 2011 when sony upped the amount of time they spent talking about vita interaction with the ps3.

i just don't get the need to care about who was "first".  i don't care the ipad was out before wiiU or smartglass or vita/ps3 integration.  just tell me what it can do that's worth my time.  i probably shouldn't care so much about what Scott Moffitt thinks  (this is obviously just PR) but the trolls have been fed.

Haha, like he ever had any input on anything in Nintendo other than a marketing lap dog
Nintendo's R&D is all japanese.

Marketing lap dog is one of the multiple hats individuals like Scott Moffitt wear.  It goes with the title, now that management is expected to speak to the beat reporters covering videogames.

Word is if you throw them a stick, they will go and fetch it.

My Scott Moffitt Mii is pretty impressive when it comes to playing "Find Mii".  That has to count for something.
