Will the Wii U take the 360's top spot in NA in 2013?

Yes it will 39 48.75%

Not Sure, could go either way 15 18.75%

No it won't 26 32.50%

Total:80

I'm starting to think it will, the 360 may be on top now, but thats because the competetion is just weak. If the 360 would of had these same numbers last year,  it would have been behind both the Wii and PS3. The Wii U will offer something new, and it seems like it will be affordable. Plus, it seems like the Wii U is gonna have Cod now, which helps out the 360 and ps3 numbers a lot. Do you think it will top the 360 next year and be on top of NPD?

I think it will.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Good chance, having COD available will help.

The Wii U will be the best selling console in 2013 in my opinion! However, once the PS4 and Xbox 720 hits the market (late 2013 or 2014), the Wii U will have to differentiate itself from its competition to remain on top just like the Wii. It will be interesting to see who will the 'winner'. I'm definitely buying Wii U and PS4 regardless.

Just came in to lol at your reasoning for 360 being on top in North America, lol.

I certainly hope so, but I'm holding my predictions for Wii U until its fully detailed.

LIVE people are not going to leave their LIVE friends to start anew on WiiU. Lets be real here

It probably will, but it'll have more to do with the 360 and PS3 being on life support by then.  I can't really see CoD playing a huge factor either.  People who want to play it for the most part already have a 360/PS3/PC.  Can you see them rushing out to spend hundreds on new hardware when it means ditching the friends they already play with, betting on Nintendo's unknown online infrastructure, giving up any veteran bonuses (I believe MW3 had some unlocks if you had prestiged in the older games), and getting used to a new controller, just to be able to buy a game they would have purchased anyway.

Nope.
I see Wii U's first year being pretty reserved in terms of sales. I'm under the impression that with the 360s price probably being dropped again by that point, along with its library rivaling PS2 strength in terms of back catalogue, it will eke out a victory.

2014 is all Wii U though. In fact I think 360 will barely beat it after the next holiday's sales are tallied.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

People didn't need to leave their LIVE friend to make new ones on PSN. In the real world, people like to make friends.
