Bring back Ken Kutaragi! I would love to hear what he had to say!
OF COURSE IT IS. Something that exists is more powerful than something that doesn't. Unless the PS4 is out now or something. How can something a company hasn't even confirmed existing yet be more powerful than something that isn't out yet?
If people are going to go THIS direction, I will tell you that the Dreamcast 2 blows away the PS4, and also runs Unreal Engine 9! Yes, the Unreal Engine 9 that will also be what is working on the PS9:
Mista Yoshida san basically confirmed PS4 being more powerful then WiiU by replying to the asker with "dream on", ofcourse PS4 exists, behind the scenes, in secret Sony labs isolated from this universe.

Until it gets formally announced by Sony, it doesn't. Tech for the next Sony console is definitely in the works. But Sony hasn't announced this mythical "Playstation 4" you speak about. But hey, maybe it will join the shelves of the XBox 720 and Wii 2 that people were talking about.
That was a spot Sony ran in order to introduce the PS2. Yes, it was done by Sony. Helped to try spread FUD about their competitors. See, you stick with Sony, one day there WILL be a PS9, and it will do that.
I see ;p
Well no surprise I didnt see this I guess, didnt buy a Playstation system until 2003, always has been a Nintendo Fan (and still am ;p).
2078 was the year that was mentioned right? Damn, they really were expecting 10+ years for console lifes lol.
There is always power with Playstation. You need to be aware of this. In fact, it is useful to fear this power, and its deadly donut!

Sony also said "we were never the first, never the cheapest" last week, basically confirming PS4 will be a graphical powerhouse. Btw, Like that other dude said, a 350 dollar PS4 would be probably more powerful then a WiiU at the same price, since most of the cost will go to the tablet controller, compromising on the graphics department.

So, we start off with talking about consoles that don't exist, being more powerful than a console that does exist. Next, we start giving prices to a console that hasn't been given a price point yet, and then naming this console that doesn't exist yet the same price, so we than can declare victory in a battle that hasn't started, so that we can score points on a fictional scoreboard, that is only in the minds of people who are console partisans/fanboys.
Well, if we are going to go complete speculation and posturing for partisan points, I will tell you that the Atari 2600 is more powerful. And it under $50... isn't that nice?
And I will call it now, the next Sony system will NOT have a "real hit joystick to control the screen"! Atari 2600 1, next Sony home console 0!

Yes, its not even speculation anymore, since a Sony exec confirmed it to be more powerful, therefore we can assume itll be more powerful.
it means that the player is the baby , and the PS3 is responsible for his emotional development.
see the laughing , the crying and all the emotions , the ps3 has the role of a mother for the player .
