Forums - Gaming - What are your 2012 purchasing plans? (post-Gamescom)

Already paid off Gravity Rush/Gravity Daze (Vita) and Lollipop Chainsaw (360).

After that, it's business as usual. The games I plan on buying are:

Last of Us (PS3).
Wii U (Wii U)
Tomb Raider (360--my single most wanted game)
Street Fighter X Tekken (PSV)
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS)
Halo 4 (360--just finished Reach again and I LOVE that game, now)
Hitman Absolution (360)
Devil May Cry (360)

I'll buy some other games. I always do. I'll just have to wait and see what reviews they wind up with. And, as much as I loved God of War 3 (it made me buy every game in the series, including the portable ones), I'm just not excited about the new one. We'll take a "wait and see" stance on that one.

On another note, today I'm going to move the Wii from my gaming room and put it into my daughter's room. I'll be buying a Wii U but I just don't think I'll be playing it again. If I do, It will look much better on her tiny screen (19 inch, I think) than it does on my bigger set.

More than likely.  I want something that will really show what the console can do, though.  Hopefully we get a title like that at launch.  Crazy that I'm going to buy the new console without a title I'm really excited about (I may be tired of 2D Mario by then) but It's Nintendo.  I'm powerless to resist.

I'll grab something.  Just gotta see what the best title availble is when we get closer to the release date.
