Pretty sure it was on purpose. They must've practiced playing the demo a ton of times so they don't screw up and so they present it in a way ND wants it presented.

I was thinking, what if there was a "hardcore" mode that took off the HUD? That would be so insane.

Haven't seen any of us Xbots calling The Last of Us scripted or anything, so you're OP seems a bit overly defensive... But maybe I missed a thread somewhere.

I imagine in the higher difficulty levels you will get like 1 bullet instead of 4 or something..would be crazy intense

 

I wonder what the multiplayer will be like for this game too
