I hate to say this, but Kylie does have a valid point. What game have you guys been following that you confused with this game. This game is a real throwback in all the ways that matter. The graphics are dated, the game play is dated, and the online seems shockingly enough dated. This game is coming right out of the mid nineties. I genuinely want to know if you who are disappointed even bothered to go beyond the games title.

You can chalk it up to the competition, and you would be right. This game would be pulverized by other games in its genre. Games like Halo, Borderlands, and Call of Duty. That said the flip side is this game doesn't look very good at all. Someone green lighted something they shouldn't have. Aliens is survival horror at its best, and this game is looking like another generic shooter. Yes the competition is heavy, but this game itself is very light. I for one am hoping that the delay is about giving the developer almost a solid year to gut this game, and make it into something that really does its pedigree justice.

I am a big fan of the Aliens franchise, and part of what made it great was the audacity that it showed by willing to not only buck convention, but to buck its own formula from one installment to the next. This game could have paid real homage to the franchise by being radically different rather then playing it very safe.

Could be quite a good game. Another game for me to get on the Wii U instead of my Xbox. Shame Resident Evil 6 will be released before the Wii U launches.

It would've been nice to have this on Wii U launch day, but at least it's not too far off.

Hmm, basically GBX has said that they still have to announce the Wii U release date, so it could be even later than Feb 12 :P
