nah soriku has a point, they trademark several names, but come to a final decision. the tales of verperia for the 360, is a prime example of that.

btw crystal guardians may be another name for cyrstal chronicles for the wii, just a thought

Hrmm, perhaps. It could also be another game in Fabula Nova Crystallis FFXIII.

Then wouldn't it be "Final Fantasy Crystal Guardians XIII"?

Or it doesn't matter? Since they trademarked FF Haeresis XIII like that.

It wouldn't matter as you just said.  They would be creating the trademark for the subtitle.

Holy shit, too many "Tales of...".

Oh Namco, will you ever learn...

I believe Crystal Guardians has something to do with the Wii game, it sounds very similar to Crystal Bearers.

My first thought was they've renamed CB, but it could be anything. Related in SOME way, I bet.

Would they not?

There's countless number of scenarios that could try to explain the trademark, but my gut feeling tells me it is in some way related to the CC franchise.

Glad to know you can say that with such certainty...

I'd actually would be real glad if this turns out to be CC Wii related. It'd show that s-e are indeed serious about wii developement, and fall into place with all the news articles floating around.

Just to clarify, "Tales of Innocence" was trademarked at the same time as 2 other unused "Tales" titles. And I recall a story that when "Tales of Symphonia" was trademarked, "Tales of Harmonia" was one of the other 2 options (don't recall the 3rd).

Personally I'd love for another Tales games to come to Wii. :)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
