i always save my money for a rainy day, if you play your wii the most get some wii games or if you play your pc the most get another video card.

Forgot to bump this thread and update =P

So I decided to go with the Wii games and went to walmart and had some games picked out etc...and called my brother to see what he thought was interesting so next time he was in town we could play...

To make a long story short (shorter anyways) the reason he got me the card was because he knew I had built my PC for SLI and wanted to help complete the goal....what he didn't know was that the GT wasn't the GTS and couldn't work with the GTS etc...he said not to worry about it and just get the games but the more I thought about it the more I thought that I should honor the intention of the gift....normally I would do what I wanted with the cash but this was a tough call for me to begin with so I figured if that was his original intent I might as well go through with it.....part of all of this is sort of a running joke with my PC and my brother where he pretty much hogs the damn thing every time he visits so I think he partly wanted to see what difference it would make etc...

The other thing was that out of the games I picked out none of them were "must-have" titles for me and I already have 11 or 12 Wii games in the ~14 months I've owned it so I'm not hurting for things to do either. Especially since I have rediscovered the joys of GH since I got it in October. But the big thing is that with Brawl, Wii Fit, and MKWii are coming soon(ish) and I couldn't think when I would have time to play these 5 games between now and then...hell I've barely touched Godfather and Mario Strikers as it is.

edit: PS - It was still very hard to have the guy put those games back and wlak out of the store when I was so close to the purchase...the next couple days waiting for the card to arrive was painful also   But on the plus side the price dropped in the time I waited by like $20 so I was able to get a slot cooler to go in between the cards and 2x 120mm fans to replace the ones on the back of the case for 4x the airflow...actually they chill my feet now ><

I think that we all should spend our spare money by donating to charity.

 NP, just pretend I formed the SGF (Sqrl's Gaming Foundation) and thats where my donation went.  Quite charitable imo.

Put in the bank. lol
