CD Projekt’s confirmed in new job listings it’s hiring for a brand new IP, indicated to be a shooter RPG, and for a “dark fantasy” RPG that is “known around the world” that obviously isn’t The Witcher III.

Thanks, Gamerzines.

Interesting, I am guessing the shooter RPG is They which was put on hold when they brought Metropolis Software so the studio could work on the witcher 2

Not sure what the dark fantasy RPG is, I mean if it was the Witcher 3 they would just say the next game in the Witcher series. Surely it can't be another Game of Thrones game can it? Tho that would be a perfect fit for them.

bump

Hmm kinda getting bored with dark fantasy and shooter rpgs.
But maybe CD Projekt can put some new twists on it. There are plenty of interesting Polish folk stories and fairy tales for source material. After a quick google search In Red by Magdalena Tulli looks like a brave project to take on for CD Projekt, although that would be more like an adventure game then an rpg.

I am starting to think it might just be The Witcher

“In order to continue in this spirit our journey within the constantly booming game industry, CD Projekt RED wants to reinforce its existing team with some highly talented and passionate people, who will help us in crafting new amazing projects,” reads a post on the studio’s website.

“Our mature dark-fantasy world is well known around the world, though if you can’t stomach dwarves, elves or sorceresses who put their ample charms on display in Playboy magazine, we’ve got also something special that might be right up your alley!"

“We’re looking for people who would rather work on an entirely new and different IP – a vast RPG for which we want to assemble the best possible staff. It represents an opportunity for you to create a grand new project from the ground up!”

Our mature dark-fantasy world sounds like the witcher to me, especially with the playboy reference.
