Final Fantasy and the Zelda series are some of the most beloved gaming series but thier recent outings have definitely led both serieous to major backclash against fans.

Final Fantasy is really a corrupted brand after 13,13-2 and 14 online.Plus the oversaturation of Ff games are also too far with spin offs,rythm games,Prequels,Sequels,...wtf..Zelda on the other hand may not have recieved as much hatred but clearly the template has not been changed too much since ocrina.Although Skyward Sword did few things right like new dungeon designs,emphasis on story and characters and use of motionplus it still went backwards in terms of lack of voiceacting,too much hand holding and too much back tracking.Twilight Princess,Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were great games but definitely not upto par with zelda standards

So instead of compalining what do you think needs to happen to both series.What other causes are there for the series decline and write down ideas to fix them

I want Final Fantasy to go back to it's classic turn-based gameplay (like FFX did) and I want the next Zelda to have voice over. OK maybe not Link but the other characters should. We are ready for that.

I wouldn't mind a turn based combat system but I really did like the combat system of 13.I think they should try to experiment with a gameplay similar to dissidia..Voice acting for zelda would be awsome.I think they should not just do plain english but more medevil shakesperean type would be pretty interesting

Zelda doesn´t need voice then you would have to listen to everything. But I don´t understand the hate for FF XIII it is a very good game with great story and great voice acting. I liked it much more then FF X

I don't know what can be done in Zelda. They could eliminate some temples and items and replace them with others, but some will react badly to those changes. Nintendo is in a "damned if you do, and damned if you don't" situation.

About Final Fantasy, combat is not much of a problem, but the whole experience is. They have lost (at least to me) some of that "magic" that it once had. I think they should do a back to basics approach. Forget future and weird things/invocations and do a more medieval themed one. With steam machines to help explore huge areas but with a more romantic, in a not sentimental meaning, touch.

What I want SE and Nintendo to do is collaborate on a Zelda: RPG similar to Super Mario RPG.
I wouldn't mind seeing another off-the-wall Zelda and a revival of the SM:RPG

Yeah, I don't expect it to happen. Zelda is too precious for Nintendo. 

I didn't think Mario in an RPG back then wouldn't work but it turned out to be an awesome game. If it does, it'd be good for both companies. If it doesn't, then sometimes people are looking for something else so they worked to achieve it but end up appreciating what they already have in the first place.

i would love a 2d zelda game like A link to the past. It was the best in the series.
