So I was wondering having witnessed the past few E3s, what exactly are people expecting from Microsoft this E3?

I will be very honest, I'm not expecting much in the name of core gaming. Last year Microsoft had the worst E3 out of the big 3 with all kinds of crazy antics like kids and even GROWN men jumping around the stage causing unbelievable amount of headaches and migranes. It was a pain to witness such an abomination. The year before was not much better with random stuff like video chat and children getting molested my tigers and all sorts of mindrape.

Now I'm not one to hate and I love the capabilities of that kinect has to offer and the general direction MS has been going with the Xbox to make it into an entertainment hub, but they really don't seem to have done anything that has excited the hardcore audience from a first party perspective. But if we were to summarise we will definitely see Halo 4, Fable Journeys and Forza Horizon as big exclusives. We might also see from the Kinect side of things Ryse (if it actually hasn't moved on to next gen as rumours suggest), Steel Batallion and Project Draco.

But besides these all I think we will see more multimedia features and maybe new kinect games for the young ones. And especially after MS has declared there will be no nextbox at E3, I'm not expecting much and I guess it makes sense for MS to use most of their resources on the nextbox and keep the 360 momentum going with big 3rd party titles like COD, Assasin's Creed, etc. To me next year is when the MS E3 will be huge.

So what do you guys think? Are there going to be anything new and crazy from MS or is it going to be along the same lines as last year's E3?

I just want to see Halo 4 single player gameplay. It's the only game I am really excited about, but I don't care about multiplayer like so many other Halo fans. I'm all about the campaign. After E3 I plan to replay all the Halo games again leading up to Halo 4. The Chief is back!

IMO Microsoft had the weakest 2010 and 2011 E3s, so I reckon that it's their turn to surprise us all this year :)

I didnt think the last two e3's were bad by any means. Last E3 they had Gears 3, Forza 4, Announced Minecraft then Announced Halo 4. Lots of core Titles.

I personally dont care much for a lot of microsoft exclusives,so halo 4 is not gonna excite me as some other people lol.I want to see what new features will they add to xbox live
Although my expectations are quite low,I am guessing a lot of kinect stuff and a announcement that they are working on a new xbox

Same as usual, first/second IP's showings that actually interest me, like Gears, Halo, Forza... , more entertainment apps. Same as they've doing doing for the past few E3's then really.

1-3 new IP's would be nice as well.

It is probably going to be the worst of the 3. They will probably just show Halo 4, Black Ops 2, and some Kinect games. Many of the Xbox exclusives have become multiplatform over the years, so Microsoft needs to make some new IP's if they want to survive next gen.
